After the Striped Bass have concluded their spawn in Weldon, they begin to make their way back down the river and out to the sound. These fish take their time moving back downriver, feeding heavily on baitfish in the river to replenish the energy they expended during their spawn. This is one of the most overlooked times of the year to chase Striped Bass, especially for fly & topwater anglers. This trip is a great alternative for those that are tired of the crowds in Weldon; we normally experience just as much succses and rarely fish around any other boats. We target these fish out of a 20' skiff using fly and light tackle. 2 anglers max per boat. All tackle is provided. Lunch, craft beers, and snacks are provided.

Cancellation Policy

We do require a $200 deposit to be paid per trip. This is a non-refundable deposit except in the event of inclement weather (to be determined by your guide only). If a trip is canceled the deposit may be used towards a future trip.
